2024 Jamaica Plain Train Park Soil Quality Study

As a part of Environmental Analysis and Science, I was part of a team which undertook field sampling and performed x-ray fluorescence and stereoscope analysis on the soil samples collected. The goal was to assess the contents of potentially-hazardous contaminants, such as lead or arsenic in a public park.

2024 Water Quality Report

As a part of the Olin class Environmental Analysis and Science, I was a part of a team in charge of creating a report containing visualizations for and summarizing water quality data collection techniques and trends in the Muddy River, a tributary of the Charles. This report was given to the Charles River Watershed Association, along with other class deliverables to advance the work in monitoring the water quality of the river.

2024 Air Pollution Data Analysis

This project was done with data collected from Olin College of Engineering’s Affordable Design and Entrepreneurship (ADE) capstone Air Partners team. Air Partners possesses the largest network of air quality sensors set up around the city of Boston, and my data analysis was conducted with a sensor set up at a corner of Cottage and Dudley street in Roxbury, Massachusetts.

2022 Brass Dice & Aluminum Toy Truck

A dice machined by hand on an untrammed mill to the tolerance of a thousandth of an inch and dice dots via Tormach CNC machine using personally-written GCODE.

A truck machined and lathed out of aluminum and stainless steel. The wheels spin!

2022 Design Build Fly: Caladrius

After Covid lockdowns, DBF returned to competition in 2022. New tools and a developed manufacturing technique for composite airfoils enabled Caladrius's design, a vaccine-carrying twin boom aircraft with a 7ft wingspan.

We flew to Kansas to compete against 100+ teams from colleges all over the world, and placed 15th overall after successfully completing all missions!

2022 Origami Drone Research

A series of research experiments conducted over the summer of 2022 with Professor Christopher Lee at Olin College of Engineering.

Our work involved tessellating pseudo-origami paper-plastic composite structures as applied to quadcopter drones! We will be presenting at the ASME conference in Washington D.C. in August of 2024.
